The NC State Wolfpack took care of business in their season-opening win over Western Carolina with a 38-21 victory. Grayson McCall had a solid first start for the Pack, completing 26-40 passes for 334 total yards and connected with Kevin "KC" Concepcion 9 times for 121 yards and 3 scores in the win. Jordan Waters had a nice debut for the Wolfpack after transferring from Duke. The running back finished with 20 carries for 123 yards and 2 scores for Dave Doeren's club.
