? EAST HALL’S MIRACLE RUN CONTINUES

The East Hall Vikings continued one of the most remarkable turnaround seasons in Georgia high school basketball, defeating the Calhoun Yellow Jackets 67–52 in the GHSA Class 3A State Quarterfinals.

After starting the season 2–13, East Hall has caught fire at the perfect time and is now headed to the GHSA Final Four for the first time since 2007.

Calhoun attempted to slow down the Vikings’ outside shooting after East Hall’s three-point explosion in the previous round, but the Vikings adjusted by attacking inside.

Bray Langston led the charge with 19 points, while Chasen Jones added 18 points, controlling the paint and powering East Hall to a convincing quarterfinal victory.

Head coach Joe Dix, who was part of three East Hall state championship teams in the 2000s, praised his team’s resilience after the game.

“This is absolutely unbelievable. It's a testament to those kids. They didn't quit playing and kept competing.”
