After starting the season 2–13, the sixth-seeded Vikings have surged through the postseason and are now headed to the Elite Eight for the first time since 2015. East Hall used a three-point barrage from Cooper Barton and relentless defensive pressure to pull away in the second half, delivering one of their most complete performances of the season. Head coach Joe Dix praised his team’s resilience during the historic turnaround. “These guys just won’t quit. If we just keep working, something good will happen for us.
