Zaccharie Risacher, the son of former French international basketball player Stéphane Risacher, has basketball embedded in his roots. Born in Malaga, Spain, where his father played from 2002 to 2006, Zaccharie followed in his father's footsteps and initiated his club basketball journey at Élan Chalon at the remarkable age of three and a half.
His early years in Saône-et-Loire extended until 2011, after which he transitioned to the Lyon region in February 2012. There, he acquired his basketball skills at the Union Olympique Demi-Lunoise Tassin Écully Olympique Basket club, commonly known as Téo Basket 2. However, it was in January 2018 that Zaccharie became a secondary licensee at the Oullins Sainte-Foy Basket club, based in France.
Over two and a half seasons with Oullins Sainte-Foy, Zaccharie Risacher displayed significant growth, emerging as one of the top scorers in the championship during the 2019-2020 season, averaging an impressive 20.8 points per game. Notably, at the age of 14, he showcased his talent on a broader stage by participating in two matches in the French cadet championship, thanks to Oullins Sainte-Foy's affiliation with the CTC Lyonso Basket Territoire. Zaccharie's basketball journey reflects a promising career and a continuation of the family's legacy in the sport.
